Satuan Lalu Lintas Polres Tanah Datar yang dipimpin oleh Iptu Fitri Dewi Utami SIK. MH., mengadakan acara sosialisasi dan penyuluhan kepada driver ojek yang ada di seputaran Kota Batusangkar, Sabtu(8/2) di Mapolres Tanah Datar.
Sebanyak kurang lebih 60 driver ojek diberi materi tentang aturan-aturan dalam berlalu lintas. Hal ini tak lain bertujuan untuk mengurangi angka kecelakaan. Memang kecelakaan tidak bisa dihindari namun kita setidaknya bisa untuk mengurangi hal tersebut.
Acara yang dibuka oleh Kasat Lantas dan didampingi oleh kanit laka dan kanit dikyasa ini juga mengajak para driver ojek untuk bersama-sama melawan kejahatan curanmor. Jika ada orang yang dicurigai segera laporkan, kami satuan lalu lintas dan Polres Tanah Datar siap melakukan pendalaman terkait orang yang dicurigai sebagai pelaku curanmor.
Setelah acara selesai, dilanjutkan dengan pemasangan stiker kepada para driver ojek yang melambangkan pelopor keselamatan berlalu lintas karena keselamatan itu nomor 1.
